Physical Robotics AS is a start-up company based in Norway. The company is backed by a top VC in Norway and local industries and investors in the Oslo-Viken region. We are at the forefront of humanoid robot development, creating robots capable of performing physical tasks with dexterity similar to humans for jobs that humans do not want to do.

The company is racing to develop robot hardware and physical intelligence, competing with global players like Tesla, Figure, Boston Dynamics, Toyota, Xiaomi, and 1X Technologies. We aim to lead the application of humanoid robots in manufacturing and industries by 2027-2028.

Abstract

An HR internship is essential for gaining hands-on experience in core HR functions, such as recruitment, employee relations, and onboarding. Interns develop practical skills, gain exposure to real-world HR challenges, and learn about company policies and compliance. HR interns support the HR team with administrative tasks, data management, and project coordination, streamlining operations while preparing for a full-time HR career.

Collaboration of the Candidate Within the Company

  1. Recruitment Support: Assist with job postings, resume screening, scheduling interviews, and coordinating recruitment efforts.
  2. Onboarding: Help with new employee orientation, preparing onboarding materials, and ensuring smooth integration of new hires.
  3. Administrative Tasks: Manage HR documentation, maintain employee records, and assist with data entry and filing.
  4. Employee Engagement: Support employee engagement initiatives, organize team-building activities, and assist in policy communication.
  5. HR Projects: Participate in projects such as employee satisfaction surveys, policy development, and performance reviews.
  6. Compliance and Policy Support: Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies; help update the employee handbook.
  7. Training and Development: Coordinate training sessions, track employee progress, and gather feedback for improvement.

Expected Qualifications and Background of the Candidate

  1. Strong communication skills for interacting with employees, management, and potential candidates.
  2. Organizational skills to handle multiple tasks and support HR processes.
  3. Attention to detail in managing sensitive employee information and administrative tasks.
  4. Teamwork and collaboration abilities to work effectively within the HR department.
  5. Basic understanding of HR functions, such as recruitment, onboarding, and employee relations.
  6. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); familiarity with HR software is a plus.
  7. Problem-solving skills to address employee concerns and support HR initiatives.
  8. Discretion and confidentiality in handling sensitive employee data.
